AVER is also the only real estate agency that has clearly defined that it works in the seller’s interests, aiming to help clients sell an apartment, house or land faster and more profitably. The company has been on the market since 2017 and grows two to three times every year in both turnover and number of agents, and the management team has more than 10 years of experience in real estate. The company is growing rapidly, as its achievements confirm. In 2019 the AVER Brokerage team had only 9 agents. In 2020 the team already had 18 agents.
The company currently has 35 certified agents registered in the brokers’ register, who work throughout Latvia and complete more than 250 transactions every year. We continue to grow together with purposeful, success-oriented people with high ambitions. AVER branches currently operate in Riga, Liepāja, Daugavpils and Saldus, and in 2022 branches are planned to open in Jūrmala, Sigulda and Cēsis.
What is a franchise?
A franchise is a business model that an organisation can choose as a business expansion strategy. When it is implemented, the franchisor licenses its knowledge, procedures, intellectual property, business model, brand and the right to sell its company’s products and services to the franchisee. In return, the franchisee pays a certain fee and agrees to comply with certain obligations, which are usually set out in the franchise agreement.
For the franchisor, using such a system is a business expansion strategy compared with expanding by opening corporate retail or service locations, or “chain stores”. For the franchisee, adopting such a business system for selling and distributing goods and services reduces capital investment and liability risk.
A franchise is not an equal partnership, as the franchisee is partly subordinate to the franchisor. However, if the cooperation is successful and transparency, favourable legal aspects, financial resources etc. are ensured, a franchise benefits both the franchisor and the franchisee.
Why was the AVER Brokerage franchise created?
There are several reasons for creating the franchise:
- To raise the level of brokerage services in Latvia;
- To give agents who decide to start their own business all the support they need to build an efficient, profitable and growing business;
- To give AVER company leaders the opportunity to develop as entrepreneurs.
In 2021 three franchisees signed franchise agreements. Two of them are AVER leaders who started their own businesses, and the third is SIA Trusted Latvija, which decided to join us in order to grow and develop its business faster.
